Giles Peel is the current Chairman at Combat Stress - The Veterans’ Mental Health Charity. Giles has an extensive and successful work history, starting with their role as Executive Director at Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Trust from 2009 to 2011. In this role, Giles was responsible for the overall management and running of the Trust. From there, Giles went on to become the Chairman at Joint Employment Partnership, where they oversaw the organisation for nine years. In their most recent role before becoming Chairman at Combat Stress, Giles was the Head of Governance Advisory Practice at DAC Beachcroft LLP. Giles is an expert in corporate governance and has a wealth of experience in Board reviews, mergers & acquisitions due diligence, strategic planning, and risk management. Giles is also a mentor for senior executives and non-executives. Giles’ experience and expertise make him the perfect candidate for their current role as Chairman at Combat Stress, where they are responsible for leading the organisation and supporting veterans with mental health issues.

Giles Peel completed a BSc Hons in Systems and Management from City, University of London. Prior to that, they attended Portsmouth Grammar School.
