Beth Tauro has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Beth joined Combined Jewish Philanthropies in 2012, where they served as the Senior Director of Grants and Partnership Initiatives, as well as the Director of The Miriam Fund. In addition, they held the position of Business Community Liaison at the same organization. In 2018, they became the Director of Planning Outreach and Engagement at Combined Jewish Philanthropies.
Prior to their work at Combined Jewish Philanthropies, Tauro worked as a Marketing and Communications Consultant for not-for-profit companies and as a Business Development Manager at Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge LLP. Beth also gained experience as an Associate General Counsel at Arthur D. Little, Inc. and as a Corporate Law Associate at Hale and Dorr (Wilmer Hale).
Throughout their career, Tauro has been involved in volunteer positions, including serving on the Board of Directors for NorthEast Arc and participating in volunteer leadership projects at BROWN UNIVERSITY. Beth has demonstrated skills in marketing, business development, strategic planning, and legal matters.
Beth Tauro completed their primary education at The Winsor School from 1977 to 1980. Beth then pursued their undergraduate studies at Brown University from 1980 to 1984, earning an A.B. degree in Political Science and International Relations. Following their undergraduate studies, Beth attended Cornell Law School from 1984 to 1987, where they graduated with a J.D. cum laude degree, specializing in Law.
