Aleksandar Krstev has a strong background in system engineering and technical roles. Aleksandar started their career at CS Computer Systems in 1997 as a Technician, and later transitioned to a System Engineer role in 2005. Aleksandar worked at CS Computer Systems until 2012. In 2012, they joined Combis d.o.o. as a System Technician and then moved on to become a System Engineer. Their current role at Combis d.o.o. as a System Engineer has been ongoing since May 2023.

Aleksandar Krstev completed their high school education at Tehnička Škola Ruđera Boškovića from 1989 to 1993, specializing in Electrotechnics. Aleksandar then went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering from Visoko Učilište Algebra - Visoka Škola za Primijenjeno Računarstvo, graduating in 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Aleksandar Krstev has obtained several certifications from Microsoft. In 2008, they earned the MCSE1: Windows Server 2003 certification. Subsequently, they obtained the MCITP: Enterprise Administrator on Windows Server 2008 certification in 2008, followed by the MCITP: Enterprise Messaging Administrator on Exchange 2010 certification in 2011. In 2013, they achieved the MCSA: Windows Server 2012 certification, and in 2014, they obtained the MS: Server Virtualization with Windows Server Hyper-V and System Center certification, all from Microsoft.
