Steve Reid

Steve is president of Comcar’s CT Transportation subsidiary. He was appointed to that position in 2004. He was more than 30 years of experience in the trucking industry.

In addition to his current role at Comcar, he also served as Vice President, overseeing four operating companies involved in flatbed, dry van, tanks and specialized trailing equipment.

Before joining Comcar, Reid spent 15 years with the Schilli Companies as General Manager of its flatbed division.

Before joining Comcar, he was in the manufacturing sector of business with Nichols – Homeshield, an aluminum processor and manufacturer. When that company began a subsidiary truck Line – Transhield – he moved into operations where he helped the brand grow to 150 units.
