Pierre Venter

Pierre Venter is an accomplished legal and claims management professional with extensive experience in workers' compensation and injury law. Currently serving as a Senior Claims Manager at Comcare since December 2020, Pierre manages a large portfolio of complex claims and utilizes seven years of expertise in Workers Compensation. Prior to this role, Pierre held various managerial positions at Guild Insurance Inc., including ACT - Workers Compensation Claims Manager. Pierre's background also includes significant roles at QBE Insurance, where responsibilities encompassed guidance to solicitors and case managers on injury law, as well as leading complex litigated claims as a Technical Service Officer. Pierre's legal career began with the South African Police Service as a Legal Advisor and included partnership at Victor and Partners Attorneys. Educational qualifications include a Diploma of Law from the University of Sydney, certificates in Injury Management and Occupational Health and Safety, and a Bachelor of Laws from Potchefstroom University.
