Kristine Dankenbrink

EVP, Tax at Comcast

Kristine Dankenbrink serves as Executive Vice President of Taxation for Comcast Corporation. In this role, she is responsible for all areas of taxation, including the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, planning, legislative policy, litigation, risk management, financial reporting and compliance.

During her tenure at Comcast, Kristine was responsible for the tax aspects of many domestic and cross border transactions, including the acquisition of NBCUniversal and Sky PLC. She presided over the tax function as Comcast transitioned from a cable company into a global media and technology giant. Kristine also played a critical role in assisting tax policy makers and advocating on behalf of investment intensive, domestic employers, most recently related to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017. She has been regularly named by CableFAX among the “Most Powerful Women in Cable”.

Prior to joining Comcast, Kristine served as Senior Vice President of Tax for Time Warner Cable (TWC). Kristine also led numerous tax policy initiatives and testified on behalf of TWC before groups like the National Governors Association, the National Conference of State Legislators and the American Legislative Exchange Council.

Before joining TWC, Kristine held roles of increasing responsibility within the tax department of Time Warner Inc. She began her career as a Certified Public Accountant for Ernst & Young.

Kristine is a member of the Board of Directors for the Comcast Foundation, Comcast Capital Corporation and NBCUniversal Enterprises. She serves on the board of the Broadband Tax Institute, where she has served two terms as president. Kristine is an active participant and frequent speaker for various tax and industry organizations. She has served on the audit committee of the Episcopal Academy in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania and participates on the Parent’s Council of Franklin and Marshall College. Kristine is active in many charities giving a voice to individuals with autism. She graduated from the State University of New York at Albany with a B.S. in Accounting and a Master’s degree in Taxation.
