Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions for educational devices. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris focuses on hardware development for innovative DViT interactive whiteboards and related technologies. Previous roles include firmware engineering at SMART Technologies and electronics contracting for the Science Alberta Foundation, where responsibilities encompassed design and repair of educational devices. Additional experience includes teaching assistance at the University of Calgary and electronics engineering at Grindcom, where Chris worked on control systems for the forestry industry. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
