Ayu Abdullah is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in energy and community engagement. Currently serving as a Board Member at the Alliance for Rural Electrification and a Research Fellow at the Asia School of Business, Ayu Abdullah also holds the position of Managing Director at COMET - Community Energy Toolkit. With a longstanding tenure at Energy Action Partners since 2014, Ayu Abdullah has progressed through various leadership roles, including Executive Director and Co-Founder/Director of Community Engagement. A co-founder of The Mak Minah Project, which supports low-income and homeless communities in Kuala Lumpur through micro-loans, Ayu Abdullah's career began in engineering roles, including Research Assistant and Field Engineer. Ayu Abdullah holds two Master's degrees from Purdue University and Masdar Institute of Science and Technology, complemented by a Bachelor's degree from Purdue University in Aerospace Engineering.
