Ulrich Hansen

Ulrich Hansen is a seasoned professional in the RF power generation field, currently serving as Fellow COMET RF Power at Comet Group since January 2019, where continued contributions to R&D are made post-retirement. Previously, Hansen held various significant roles including Management member of the Stolberg operations at COMET AG from 2011 to 2018 and Chief Technology Officer at Stolberg HF-Technik AG from 2007 to 2011, focusing on the design and manufacturing of RF power amplifiers and generators. Hansen's career began with the founding of Dressler HF-Technik GmbH in 1980, which specialized in RF power equipment, after which there was a brief tenure as VP of the Stolberg AE site post-acquisition by Advanced Energy Inc. Earlier professional experience also includes ownership of Ingenieur-Büro Ulrich Hansen, providing design and retail services for RF electronics. Hansen holds a Dipl.Ing. degree in RF Electronics from RWTH Aachen University.
