Rodney Gaines has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Rodney started their career at Ascom as a System Expert in 1989 and worked there until 1993. Rodney then joined Ericsson Switzerland, where they held various roles such as GSM System Expert, Operations Manager, and Key Account Manager Marketing & Sales. In 2003, Gaines moved to Swisscom Fixnet as a Senior Strategy and Business Development Manager until 2007. During this time, they were also involved in Mobile Innovation as the Head of Mobile Innovation, responsible for the successful introduction of the iPhone application SBB Mobile. From 2010 to 2013, they worked at SBB as the Leiter New Business. Currently, Gaines is serving as the VP Sales, Western Europe at Comfone AG, a role they have held since 2019.
Rodney Gaines completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Arts at Michigan State University from 1983 to 1988. Later, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2001 to 2003.
