Sandrine Ayer has a diverse work experience spanning over 11 years. Sandrine started their career as an intern at ftc communication SA in 2008. Sandrine then worked as a junior account at Pulsion Agence de Communication SA from 2010 to 2011. After that, they joined MEC as a media account manager from May 2011 to December 2013.

Sandrine Ayer began their education at Gymnase Auguste Piccard from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained their Maturité. Sandrine then went on to attend Université de Neuchâtel, where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Communication from 2004 to 2007. Sandrine furthered their studies at USI Università della Svizzera italiana, where they pursued a Master's degree in Corporate Communication from 2007 to 2009.
In 2010, Sandrine attended SAWI and obtained a Federal Diploma in Communication (2010-2011). Additionally, they completed a Markom Certificate in Communication, Marketing, Sales, and Public Relations, as well as a Professional Course in Communications Specialist, both from the same institute in 2010.
