Steve Kochan

Steve Kochan is the current CEO and founder of ComFreight. Prior to this, they worked as an account manager at C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc. from May 2008 to December 2009. There, they managed millions in transactional and contract business within their first year of employment. Steve also assisted with SOP, KPI and operational protocols for key top tech accounts, including Samsung and LG. Furthermore, they increased margins on partial loads and large mark shipments through freight consolidation. In February 2010, Kochan left C.H. Robinson Worldwide to work as a logistics manager at a freight forwarder until April 2012. While at the freight forwarder, they supported the development of a proprietary TMS and implementation for the company. Additionally, they developed new carrier contacts and established higher discounts on all related pricing. Finally, they negotiated discount pricing strategy with vendors resulting in greater quarterly cost-savings. Before their work in logistics, Kochan was the co-founder of RPSport from January 2002 to April 2005.
