Alan A. Mehanna

Alan A. Mehanna is a passionate writer and experienced professional in the film and television industries, currently serving as a Junior Editor at CBR since January 2024 and formerly as a Features Writer focusing on Anime from July to October 2023. With a diverse freelance writing background spanning poetry, short stories, and screenplays since 2003, Alan has also worked as a Content Auditor at Valnet, ensuring article quality from October 2023 to January 2024. Previous roles include Instructor at the American University of Science and Technology, where courses on filmmaking aesthetics were taught, and Podcast Manager at LevantX. Alan holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Full Sail University and has co-hosted the podcast Script2Screen, discussing movie releases and television shows. Upcoming projects include a 30-episode television series and a feature film.
