Miguel Angel Perez Rul Jr.

Miguel Angel Perez Rul Jr. is a Structural Designer at Smurfit Westrock since October 2023 and has been part of the Experience Design Team for Comic-Con International since June 2017, overseeing registration floor traffic flow to enhance attendee experiences. Previously, Miguel served as a Packaging Design Instructor at CETYS Universidad, teaching online courses in Design Thinking and ArtiosCAD Management from January 2020 to October 2023. Miguel has also worked as a Product Design Engineer at SmartCo Packaging Solutions, focusing on smart packaging for various industries, and as General Manager at Pera Promoción de viajes, where educational and recreational trips were planned for diverse groups. Additional roles include drafter at Taller de mantenimiento y maquinados Real, lifeguard, workshop technician, and maintenance positions in varied settings. Miguel holds a certification in Life Cycle Assessment from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Licenciatura in Industrial and Product Design from Universidad Autónoma de Baja California.
