Kate Crabtree has extensive work experience in the non-profit sector, with a focus on corporate partnerships, fundraising, and events management. Starting in 2002, they held various roles at Mencap, including Corporate Account Manager and Events Fundraiser. Kate then worked at Macmillan Cancer Support and Terrence Higgins Trust as an Events Coordinator before joining Global Radio as an Events Manager. Kate later became the Help a London Child Manager and eventually the Head of Fundraising for 95-106 Capital FM and 97.3 LBC. In 2012, Kate joined Save the Children as a New Business Manager and then moved to Unicef UK as the Head of New Business. Kate later worked at BBC Media Action as the Head of Corporate Partnerships, covering maternity leave, before joining Comic Relief as the New Partnerships Lead and eventually the Head of New Partnerships. In 2022, they also became a Trustee at Lepra.

Kate Crabtree attended the University of Reading from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. Kate also studied at London Metropolitan University from 2004 to 2005 and received a Certificate in Marketing (CIM).
