CNMC
Alejandro Yuste Herreruela is currently serving as Competition Legal Counsel at the CNMC (Comisión Nacional de los Mercados y la Competencia) since September 2024. Previously, Alejandro held the position of Trainee at the Supervisory Law Division of the European Central Bank for a brief period in mid-2024 and was also a Trainee at the Competition Directorate of CNMC from November 2023 to July 2024. Prior experience includes roles as an EU and Competition Law Trainee at both Cuatrecasas and Clifford Chance, as well as an Assistance Trainee at Carrefour Spain. Alejandro’s academic qualifications include an LLM in European Union Law and International Law from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, an LLM in Access to Advocacy and Legal Practice from VIU - Universidad Internacional de Valencia, a Double Bachelor's Degree in Law and Economics from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, and a Bachelor in Economics from the University of Mannheim as part of an Erasmus program. Additional studies in Financial Mathematics were completed at Universidad Nebrija.
