Enrique Ruiz de Villa Saiz

Enrique Ruiz de Villa Saiz currently serves as Deputy Director of Economic Analysis at the Spanish Commission on Markets and Competition, a position held since June 2024. Previously, Enrique held key roles at the European Investment Bank (EIB) as both Director and Alternate Director on the Board of Directors from November 2020 to June 2024. Additionally, Enrique was Deputy Director General for Economic and Financial Affairs of the EU at the Ministerio de Economía, Comercio y Empresa from December 2016 to June 2024. Enrique's extensive experience includes positions at the European Stability Mechanism as an Alternate Director and earlier roles in economic consulting and journalism.
