Sydney Liu

Sydney Liu has a diverse range of work experience. In 2010, they founded the NorCal High School Online Chess League and served as the President and Web Designer until 2013. In 2013, they worked as a Startup Journalist for TechZulu until 2015. In 2014, they co-founded TalentTrail, a platform that simplifies college recruiting, and successfully grew the company to include thousands of students nationwide. Their role at TalentTrail ended in 2016. Most recently, in 2017, they co-founded Commaful, an innovative platform for sharing short stories in a visual way.

Sydney Liu has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science and Business Administration from the University of Southern California. Prior to attending USC, Sydney attended Campolindo High School. Additionally, Sydney took online courses in 2012 from Coursera Free Online College Courses and NovoEd Free Online Stanford Courses, with a focus on entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial studies. The courses taken on these platforms were not for credit.
