Jorge Arévalo has a range of work experience in the tech industry. Jorge worked at Rockwell Automation, first as a Potential Engineer where they gained experience in various business units and created an augmented reality experience. Later, they became a Contract Renewal Specialist, focusing on renewing contracts for the TechConnect support service.
Jorge then moved on to Command Alkon, where they started as a Software Support Specialist, providing remote support for software and hardware applications in the building materials industry. Currently, they hold the position of Support Services Lead, responsible for monitoring the day-to-day operations of the support team and ensuring excellent customer experiences.
Jorge Arévalo earned a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Robotics, and Mechatronics from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, from 2011 to 2019. Jorge then pursued a specialization in Technology Management with a focus on Business Leadership at Universidad EAN, from 2022 to 2023. In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma White Belt certification from Command Alkon in 2023. Jorge completed their high school education at Colegio Gimnasio Británico in Chía, Cundinamarca, from 1998 to 2011.
