Laverne Sowerby

LaVerne Sowerby, CPA, has a diverse and progressive work experience. LaVerne began their career as an Accounting Assistant at COMMAND FINANCIAL PRESS CORPORATION from 1992 to 1995. LaVerne then worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Manager in the Financial Services sector from 1995 to 2001. At Citigroup, they held various leadership roles from 2001 to 2021, including Vice President of Financial Reporting and Analysis, Vice President of Risk Financial Forecasting and Analysis, and Assistant Vice President of Financial Reporting and Analysis. Currently, they serve as the Chief Financial Officer at Command Financial, where they apply their expertise in financial operations and strategic objectives.

LaVerne Sowerby, CPA obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Hunter College, where they studied from 1988 to 1994.
