Chuck Bethea has extensive experience in the engineering and operations field, spanning over several companies. Chuck started their career in the United States Air Force, where they were a Guidance and Control Systems Specialist, responsible for maintaining and supporting flight control systems for heavy lift aircraft. After serving in the Air Force, they joined the US Air Force Reserve and continued their role as a Guidance and Control Systems Specialist.

In 1999, they transitioned to the private sector and joined Motorola Solutions. There, they served as a Senior Staff Engineer, leading the design and implementation of voice and data systems for State and Local government customers. Chuck was also a Project 25 Subject Matter Expert, overseeing the review of all P25 system designs in the southeast region. Later, they became a Systems Integration Manager, managing pre-sale capture and proposal response for strategic public safety communications projects.

In 2009, Bethea joined Commdex Consulting, where they held various roles. As the Vice President of Operations, they managed company operations and oversaw the deployment services for complex communications systems for Federal, State, and Local governments. Chuck achieved significant revenue growth and was responsible for the overall departmental P&L. Chuck then became the Vice President of Engineering, providing technical strategy and leadership for complex communications projects. Chuck successfully led the capture effort for several large Federal contracts, including DHS Tactical Communications (TACCOM II).

Throughout their career, Bethea has demonstrated strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a track record of successful project management and business growth.

Chuck Bethea obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University in the period spanning from 1997 to 1999.
