Mark Novak

Mark Novak is a highly experienced aviation professional and veteran with extensive service and leadership roles. Currently serving as Colonel, Volunteer Pilot, and Director of Operations/Chief Pilot at Commemorative Air Force since 1989, Mark also held the position of Chief of Staff from 2010 to 2011. Mark has been a member of EAA Warbirds since 1990 and previously served as a Volunteer Pilot at Commemorative Air Force until 2018. Prior experience includes serving as Treasurer for the City of Humboldt from 2009 to 2017 and as a Pilot in the US Air Force from 1980 to 2007, with expertise in operating a variety of aircraft, including the C-21 Learjet and B-1 Bomber. Mark holds a Master's degree in National Strategy from the U.S. Naval War College and a Bachelor's degree in Social Science from the United States Air Force Academy. The educational background began at Lewis Central High School, where Mark graduated in 1980.
