Race Brocx has been working in the software engineering field since 2014, starting as a Software Engineer Intern at Alstom Grid. In 2015, they joined Microsoft as an Information Technology Service Engineer (SRE, ITSE). In 2017, they moved to Eagleview Technologies as a Site Reliability Engineer. From 2018 to 2020, they worked at Nordstrom in various roles, including Site Reliability Engineer, Software Engineer 2, and Site Reliability Engineer 2. race currently works as a Software Engineer at Commerce Architects.

Race Brocx completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering from the University of Washington between 2013 and 2015. In 2017, they obtained four Microsoft certifications: Exam 534: Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions, Exam 532: Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions, MCSA Azure Cloud Platform, and MCSA: Cloud Platform - Certified 2017. In 2019, they obtained the Amazon Web Services Developer - Associate certification from Amazon. In 2021, they obtained the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate certification from HashiCorp.
