Steven Heslep

Steven Heslep has over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate lending. Steven began their career at Bank of America, where they quickly rose through the ranks to become a junior lender with a portfolio of over $260 million. Steven then joined Wells Fargo as a CRE lender and team leader before taking a break from banking to partner with a friend in the development and custom homebuilding business. After six successful years, they returned to banking, this time at BBVA Compass, where they eventually became the head of a workout team managing problem assets. Steven then moved on to First Scottsdale Bank, where they held multiple roles over the five-year lifespan of the organization, including Director, President, Chief Lending Officer, and Head of CRE lending. Currently, Steven is at Commerce Bank of Arizona as the SVP of Commercial Real Estate Lending, where they focus on developing new banking relationships with commercial real estate developers and investors.
