Bill Hippensteel

Bill Hippensteel is an experienced banking executive with a robust background in product development and marketing management. Currently serving as Executive Vice President and Director of Product Development at Commerce Bank since April 2016, Bill oversees consumer product management and leads strategic initiatives to enhance product offerings. Prior to this, Bill held the position of Managing Director at BAI, where responsibilities included tracking industry trends and directing retail banking education and research. Bill has also served at BBVA Compass, managing consumer and small business marketing strategies, as well as product management across various segments. Bill's career began at AMCORE Bank, focusing on corporate marketing initiatives. Bill holds an MBA in Marketing from the Western Michigan University - Haworth College of Business and has furthered education at the Wharton School of Business.
