Brian Watkins

Brian Watkins is an accomplished banking executive with extensive experience in private banking and corporate regional banking. Currently serving as President of Commerce Bank since October 2023, Brian previously held the position of Executive Vice President and Director of Private Banking at The Commerce Trust Company from September 2013 to October 2023. From December 1995 to September 2013, Brian worked at Commerce Bank as Senior Vice President and Manager of Corporate Regional Banking for the East Region, overseeing a team that delivered high-level service and tailored financial solutions to both private and publicly traded companies across a five-state area. Brian holds an MBA and a BS in Finance from Saint Louis University, completed between 1990 and 1993 and 1986 and 1990, respectively, along with a diploma from St. Louis University High School, graduating in 1986.
