Matt Thompson

Matt Thompson is an experienced marketing professional with a strong background in marketing automation and communications. Currently serving as AVP and Team Lead for Marketing Automation at Commerce Bank since February 2016, Matt is responsible for driving marketing automation strategy, managing Pardot and Marketing Cloud implementations, and fostering user adoption. Previously, Matt held roles such as Product Manager and Senior Marketing Automation Specialist at Commerce Bank, where key achievements included leading a re-implementation of Pardot and developing strategic roadmaps for high-impact initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Marketing at Bonner Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where Matt significantly increased lead generation and developed comprehensive marketing communications strategies. Matt began a marketing journey as a Social Media Specialist at Thompson Advertising Inc. and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising & Promotion/Marketing from Missouri State University.
