Michael Boessen

Michael Boessen has a diverse and extensive professional background in security and law enforcement. Currently serving as AVP and Facilities Manager at Commerce Bank since October 2014, Michael has progressed through various roles, including Senior Physical Security & Safety Specialist and Interim Manager, demonstrating leadership in physical security and safety operations. Prior to Commerce Bank, Michael dedicated over 21 years to the Raytown Police Department, culminating in the role of Patrol Supervisor, alongside experiences as an Investigator and Patrol Officer. Michael's earlier military service as a Combat Arms Instructor in the US Air Force Reserve honed expertise in security enforcement and firearms training. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Columbia Southern University and further studies at Metropolitan Community College.
