Steven Brandjord

Steven Brandjord is an experienced tax professional currently serving as the Assistant Controller and Director of Tax at Commerce Bank since June 2014, with prior roles including Senior Tax Manager and Tax Project Manager III. Before joining Commerce Bank, Steven held various positions at BKD CPAs & Advisors from January 2007 to June 2014, including Senior Manager, Manager, Tax Senior, and Staff Tax Accountant, where responsibilities encompassed managing compliance and consulting engagements, conducting FASB ASC 740 calculations, and staff training. Steven began the career with a Tax Internship at BKD CPAs & Advisors in early 2006 after earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Kansas State University in 2006.
