Michael J. Rock has over 30 years of experience in law enforcement and security. Michael J. retired as the Captain of the Investigative Services Division at the City of Glendale Police Department in 2017. In 2018, they served as the Interim Director of System Safety & Security at SCRRA, Metrolink. In 2019, they started their own consulting firm, MJRock and Associates, where they specialized in organizational and employee protection. Later that year, they became the Director of Security at Commerce Casino, overseeing a large security team and ensuring a safe gaming environment for visitors.
Michael J. Rock obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Fordham University in Bronx, NY from 1979 to 1981. Michael J. continued their education at Orange County Community College in Middletown, New York where they earned their Associate of Arts degree in Political Science from 1977 to 1979.
In 1983, Michael pursued a Masters in Management, MA degree with a focus in Public Administration at the University of Redlands in Redlands, CA. Michael J. completed this program in 1985.
Additionally, Michael participated in specialized training programs. In the year 1995, they attended the FBI National Academy for professional development. Michael J. also completed the Law Enforcement Executive Training Program at POST Command College in 2000, although the exact duration of their program is not specified.
