Benjamin Williams has over 17 years of work experience. Benjamin began their career in 2002 as a Student Ambassador at North Central State College. In 2003, they joined ECS as a Panel Wirer/Intern. In 2006, they moved to Rockwell Automation as a Drives Repair Technician, where they remanufactured and tested servo-drive systems using various hand and power tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes, curve tracers, as well as application specific testing equipment and repaired and updated printed circuit boards. In 2008, they joined SJE Inc. as a PLC/HMI Programmer, where they programmed PLCs including Allen Bradley (Pico, MicroLogix, SLC, & CompactLogix), Schneider Electric (Zelio, Twido, M340), Unitronics (V120, V130, V350, V570, V1040) and HMIs including Allen Bradley (PanelView Component, PanelView, PanelView Plus), Schneider Electric (Magelis), Maple Systems, EZAutomation, Unitronics Vision (V120, V350, V570, V1040) and Unistream. Benjamin also worked on industrial communications including ModBus, DF1, Ethernet, Unitelway. In 2020, they joined Commerce Controls Inc. as a Project Engineer.

Benjamin Williams attended Pioneer Career and Technology Center from 2000 to 2002, where they received their High School Diploma in Computer Networking and Electronics Technology. Benjamin then went on to North Central State College from 2002 to 2004 and earned an Associate in Applied Science in Electronic Engineering Technology. Finally, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering Technology at The University of Toledo from 2004 to 2006.
