Patrick Darby

Patrick Darby is currently working as an Associate at Vinson & Elkins since October 2023. Previously, Patrick held positions such as Corporate Counsel Extern at Commerce Street Holdings, LLC, and Staff Editor at The International Law Review Association. Patrick is also a JD Candidate at Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where Patrick made it to the Dean's List in Fall 2020. Prior to their legal career, Patrick worked as a Financial Analyst at Haynes and Boone, LLP and OmniCap, LLC, where Patrick specialized in preparing tax compliance analyses and reports for municipal bond issuers. Patrick also interned at AXA Investment Managers as a Wealth Management Intern. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from SMU Cox School of Business.
