Alistair Groves

Alistair Groves has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Alistair is currently working at commercetools as the Head of Product - Core Commerce since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal Product Manager at commercetools from May 2022 to July 2022.

Before joining commercetools, Alistair was the Lead Product Manager - Frontend at Spryker from April 2021 to April 2022. Alistair took parental leave from January 2021 to March 2021.

In 2020, Alistair worked as a Lifeboat Crew for the RNLI, providing coronavirus cover from June 2020 to December 2020.

From November 2019 to June 2020, Alistair served as the Chief Product Officer at Empathy.co. Alistair also took a sabbatical from May 2019 to October 2019 for their honeymoon.

Prior to that, Alistair worked at hybris software, starting as a Product Delivery Manager from December 2011 to June 2013. Alistair then served as a Senior Product Manager - Customer Experience from June 2013 to September 2016, and later as a Principal Product Manager - Customer Experience from September 2016 to April 2019.

From June 2009 to December 2011, Alistair worked as an IT Programme Manager at British Rowing. Before that, they held the positions of Online Project Manager from April 2008 to June 2009 and Online Project Officer from September 2006 to April 2008 at British Rowing.

Alistair started their career at Burlington Electronic Archives as a System Administrator, where they worked on setting up systems and providing technical advice from 2004 to 2005.

In 2005, Alistair also worked on a Final Year Project at the Met Office, focusing on consultation on climate data organization.

Overall, Alistair Groves has a strong background in product management, with experience in various industries, including e-commerce, software, and sporting organizations.

Alistair Groves attended Alleyns School from 2000 to 2002. Alistair then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of Exeter from 2003 to 2006.
