Philip Metheny

Philip Metheny has extensive work experience in the banking and auditing industry. Philip started their career in 1980 at Huntington National Bank as a Senior IT Auditor. After that, they worked at BancOhio as a Senior IT Auditor from 1983 to 1984. Philip then joined Touche Ross as a Senior Auditor in 1984 and worked there until 1986. Metheny then moved to National City Bank where they served as an AVP and IT Audit Manager from 1987 to 1996. From 1996 to 2010, they held the role of SVP and Assistant General Auditor at National City Bank. In 2010, they joined PNC as an SVP and Audit Director and worked there until 2012 when they transitioned to Commercial Bank. Philip Metheny attended Ohio University from 1975 to 1980, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a major in Accounting. After that, they enrolled at Baldwin Wallace University from 1991 to 1993 and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. In terms of additional certifications, Philip obtained the Certified Financial Services Auditor (CFSA) certification from the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) in July 2017.
