Kelly Pierson

Kelly Pierson has extensive work experience in the electronics industry. Kelly started their career as an Electronic Technician at TeleStar TV Rentals in 1986 and worked there until 1987. Kelly then moved to Universal TV Rentals and served as an Electronic Technician from 1987 to 1988. Following this, Kelly joined Commercial Electronics, Inc., where they held various positions such as Production Manager from 1988 to 2018 and Vice President of Production from 2018 to the present. In 2019, they became a Board Member of Smoky Mountain SCTE-ISBE, an organization focused on furthering the careers of broadband industry professionals. Currently, they serve as the President of SCTE Smoky Mountain Chapter since 2021. Kelly brings a wealth of experience and expertise to their roles, demonstrating their commitment to the electronics industry and professional development.

Kelly Pierson completed an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Electronic Technology from Mountain Empire Community College from 1982 to 1985. In 1986, they obtained a Certificate in Industrial Electronics & Robotics from the National Radio Institute. Prior to their college education, Kelly attended Gate City High School from 1977 to 1981, where they pursued General Studies. Additionally, Kelly has obtained certifications in CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid from the American Safety & Health Institute in December 2018, as well as a membership in the SCTE (Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers) from SCTE•ISBE in December 2017.
