Mohamed ELSHAFEI2 is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in fintech partnerships and retail banking management. At CIB Egypt, Mohamed led the Fintech & Technology Enabled Partnerships division from July 2020 to November 2023, focusing on innovative collaborations to enhance customer offerings through digital solutions. Previously, in the role of Head of Retail Banking in-Business Control, Mohamed was responsible for managing business risks and improving regulatory compliance. Mohamed’s earlier tenure at HSBC included positions as Branch Manager and Operations Head, where responsibilities encompassed financial target achievement and operational oversight in Upper Egypt. Additional experience includes roles in customer service at Menatel and CIB, as well as a Senior Accountant position at IMC. Mohamed holds an MBA in Banking & Finance from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport and a B.Sc. in Commerce with a focus on Accounting from South Valley University.
