Bret Harmeling

Bret Harmeling has a diverse work experience in the finance field. Bret started their career at Milacron as a Senior Financial Analyst, where they assisted in the implementation of HFM for the close and consolidation process. Bret then moved on to become the Accounting Manager for the North America operations at Cimcool Fluids Division.

Afterwards, Harmeling joined General Cable as the Manager of Global Financial Planning & Analysis and Financial Systems. In this role, they focused on improving financial analysis, planning, and global reporting through system-based solutions. Bret also managed the budget consolidation and analysis process and led a project to enhance global operating expense visibility.

Harmeling then worked as a Senior Consultant at Finit Solutions, where they specialized in implementing OneStream corporate performance management systems for clients transitioning from legacy financial systems. Bret assisted multinationals in converting from Hyperion Enterprise, HFM, and Hyperion Planning to OneStream for consolidations.

Most recently, Harmeling joined Kroger as a Financial Systems Manager. Bret played a key role in implementing Oracle Financial Close & Consolidation Cloud and Account Reconciliation Cloud, and served as the administrator for these systems. Bret provided application and functional expertise while overseeing external reporting data.

Bret Harmeling obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business. Bret pursued their undergraduate studies from 2005 to 2009.
