Doug Rubel

Doug Rubel has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Doug started their career at Honda R&D in 1996 as a Mechanical Design Engineer, where they gained expertise in product development, designing components for vehicle platforms and negotiating with graphic designers. In 2004, they joined Design Central as a Mechanical Engineer, developing consumer products and coordinating with suppliers for prototype and mass production. Doug then moved to Aeroflex in 2006 as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, managing mechanical design and development for satellite payload testers. At STAR Dynamics from 2013, they served as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, working on the design of a prototype mobile radar platform and remotely deployable weather covers. Currently, they are employed at Commercial Vehicle Group as a Senior Design Engineer.

Doug Rubel earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University from 1991 to 1996.
