Mehtap Ak-Sisman

Mehtap Ak-Sisman serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at the German Emirati Joint Council for Industry & Commerce (AHK) since January 2023. Currently, Mehtap is the Chief Representative for the Middle East at Commerzbank AG, with additional roles including Head of Financial Institutions at the DIFC Branch and Deputy Head of Financial Institutions at the same branch. Prior experience includes Executive Director of Financial Institutions Sales at First Abu Dhabi Bank and positions at National Bank of Abu Dhabi, Al Khaliji Commercial Bank, Habib Bank AG Zurich, and Zurich Financial Services. Mehtap began a career in banking at Deutsche Bank while pursuing an MBA in International Business from Cardiff University, following a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from EBC Hochschule Hamburg.
