Tony Zhang

Tony Zhang, CFA, serves as the Chairman Greater China and Country CEO for China at Commerzbank AG since April 2019. In addition, Tony is a member of the Global Leadership Council at the University of Rochester and previously held the position of Board Director at AustCham Beijing. With extensive experience in banking and finance, Tony has worked at prominent institutions including the Commonwealth Bank of Australia as MD, Head of Financial Institutions Group Asia, and Deputy CEO for China. Additional roles include leadership positions at Qilu Bank, Deutsche Bank, Bank of America, Lehman Brothers, and Sinochem Group. Tony holds a BA in Finance from Renmin University of China and an MBA in Finance & Corporate Accounting from the University of Rochester.
