Volkhardt Kruse

Volkhardt Kruse is an experienced financial executive currently serving as the Country CEO for the Czech Republic and Slovakia at Commerzbank AG since July 2009, where additional roles include CEO of the Hong Kong Branch and Head of Corporate Finance Asia. In this capacity, Volkhardt Kruse oversees the distribution of various loan products across multiple markets, focusing on corporates and financial institutions. Prior experience includes serving as Head of Leveraged Syndication Europe at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, where responsibilities involved developing market-appropriate debt structures and managing a skilled team, as well as roles in global debt origination and risk management at Dresdner Bank AG during the Asian Crisis. Volkhardt Kruse holds a PhD in Economics from The University of Göttingen.
