Tim began their career in 1991 as a News Producer at WGAL, where they demonstrated their skills in scriptwriting, video editing, and coordination. In 1993, McLain co-founded Classroom Connect, an educational startup, where they led product development, marketing, and training. Tim authored multiple products and played a key role in growing the company's revenue. In 1999, McLain joined Pet Food Express as the Online Commerce & Community Manager, overseeing the development and launch of their e-commerce site and implementing marketing strategies. Tim later worked at bigchalk.com as an Online Marketing Manager and at ProQuest as a Marketing Manager. At Netsertive, McLain held various marketing roles, including Senior Marketing Manager and Segment Marketing Manager, where they were responsible for driving sales opportunities, coordinating messaging, and managing demand generation activities. Tim also worked at Commio and thinQ by Commio as a Marketing Director, focusing on delivering integrated voice and text messaging solutions. Overall, McLain has a strong background in marketing, product development, and strategy across multiple industries.
Tim McLain attended Kutztown University of Pennsylvania from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Radio and Television, Journalism & Marketing.
