Joseph Lou Sta Teresa

Joseph Lou Sta Teresa has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Joseph Lou started their career in 2004 as an IT Instructor and Student Affairs Specialist at STI College Zamboanga. In 2005, they worked as a Piping Engineer and Designer I at Dash Engineering Phils. Inc. The same year, they also began their long tenure at the Commission on Higher Education, where they held several positions. These positions include Administrative Aide IV, Local Area Network Administrator, Administrative Assistant III, Administrative Officer III, Education Program Specialist II, Education Supervisor II, Supervising Education Program Specialist, and currently, OIC Chief Education Program Specialist. Joseph Lou Sta Teresa has gained extensive experience and expertise in the field of education and administration throughout their career.

Joseph Lou Sta Teresa has a diverse education history. Joseph Lou started their educational journey in 1999 at Ateneo de Zamboanga University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. Joseph Lou completed this degree in 2004.

Continuing their education, Joseph enrolled at Western Mindanao State University in 2006 and graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Joseph Lou then furthered their nursing education at the same university and obtained a Master of Arts in Nursing with a specialization in Nursing Administration. This degree took him from 2010 to 2019 to complete.

In 2019, Joseph decided to pursue a higher level of education yet again. Joseph Lou attended Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University and obtained a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Administration and Supervision in 2021.

Alongside their formal education, Joseph has also obtained various certifications. Joseph Lou became a Professional Computer Engineer certified by the Computer Engineering Certification Board in November 2020. In November 2008, they acquired the Career Service Professional Eligibility from the Civil Service Commission. Additionally, in July 2002, they obtained the Career Service SubProfessional Eligibility from the same commission. It is worth mentioning that Joseph holds a certification for the Philippine Nursing Licensure Exam but the month and year of obtainment are unspecified.
