Derek Roberson

Derek Roberson is a seasoned mobile software engineer with extensive experience in iOS development and project leadership across multiple organizations. Currently at CINC since February 2019, Roberson is responsible for the architecture, development, and deployment of mobile applications, including enhancing app features like dark mode support and optimized navigation architecture. Previous roles include iOS Tech Lead at The Walt Disney Company and Lead iOS Developer at both Purdue University Global and The McClatchy Company, where Roberson directed teams, managed project priorities, and implemented advanced features such as push notifications and in-app purchases. Proficient in technologies including Xcode, Swift, Objective-C, and various development tools, Roberson possesses a strong educational foundation with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
