Cassie Newman

Cassie Newman is an experienced professional in event management and business development, currently serving as the Event and Partnerships Manager at the Committee for Sydney since July 2023. Prior to this role, Cassie held various positions at Grimshaw from August 2015 to June 2023, including Associate Business Development Manager and Business Development and Communications Manager. Earlier experience includes serving as Gallery Manager/Researcher at 69 John St Fine Art Specialists and as NSW Registrar at Menzies Art Brands Pty Ltd from 2008 to 2013. Cassie holds a Bachelor of Art Theory from UNSW, earned between 2008 and 2012.
