Chris Hein

Chris Hein began their work experience in 2004 as a Team Lead in IT Support Services at Trading Technologies. In 2007, they transitioned to become a Senior TSG Specialist at Bain & Company. Chris then joined Heitman in 2008 as a Jr. Engineer. Since 2011, Chris has been working at Commodity & Ingredient Hedging, where they started as a Systems Engineer and eventually became the Director of Information Technology. At Commodity & Ingredient Hedging, they have focused on upgrading infrastructure, improving security and up-time, documenting systems, and identifying areas for cost savings.

Chris Hein holds a Master's degree in Information Technology Management - Information Security from the Illinois Institute of Technology, which they obtained between 2013 and 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Information Systems Technologies from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, graduating in 2003. Additionally, Chris Hein has obtained certifications such as CISSP from (ISC)² in 2017, Security+ from CompTIA in 2015, and certifications in A+ and Network+ from CompTIA.
