Vipul Taneja

Vipul Taneja has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Vipul began their career as a GET at Escorts in 1996. Vipul then joined Tata Consultancy Services in 1997, where they worked as a Developer, specializing in US Taxation product development.

In 2000, Vipul joined Genpact Headstrong Capital Markets, where they held various roles. Vipul started as a Sr. Developer/Technical Lead, responsible for understanding product requirements, defining architecture and design, and leading coding and testing activities. Vipul then served as an Account Program/Engagement Manager, ensuring timely and quality delivery of product iterations and managing relationships with stakeholders and teams. Vipul also held the position of Technical Architect and Program Manager in the Business Process Reengineering Group, where they developed strategies and roadmaps, managed multiple implementations, and oversaw maintenance and support teams. Vipul later became the India Delivery Lead for Healthcare IT Projects, where they owned projects, developed IPs/POCs, and led pre-sales activities. Finally, Vipul served as the IT/Digital Delivery & Solutions Leader for Life Sciences and Healthcare IT Projects, responsible for owning IT engagements, building capabilities, and leading pre-sales activities.

In 2018, Vipul joined Southside Specialty Pharmacy as the Director of IT. In this role, they created server-less business analytics solutions on Azure, developed machine learning models for patient adherence and machine failure predictions, and built web portals for physicians and patients to track orders.

Currently, Vipul Taneja holds the position of Director of Information Technology/CTO at Veersa Technologies. Since 2020, they have been responsible for solutioning and delivering application development and data analytics projects. Vipul also builds teams that function as an extended engineering arm for clients, handling solution architecture, design, development, and deployment.

Vipul Taneja has a diverse education history. Vipul attended Vidya Niketan Sr. Sec. School, Faridabad from 1990 to 1992, where they obtained their 10+2 degree in Science. Afterward, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Murthal. This program lasted from 1992 to 1996. During the same period, they also studied at Guru Jambheshwar University and obtained their BE degree.

Later, in 2009 to 2010, Vipul attended the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, where they completed a program in Financial Risk Management, receiving a degree called AFRM.

Besides their formal education, Vipul also obtained several additional certifications. In 2017, they received a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from GENPACT. In 2020, they attained multiple certifications from edX, including "Probability - The Science of Uncertainty and Data," "edX Verified Certificate for Machine Learning with Python-From Linear Models to Deep Learning," and "edX Verified Certificate for Probability - The Science of Uncertainty and Data."
