Brian Lavender

Brian Lavender has extensive experience in accounting and supervisory roles within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as JIB Supervisor at Commodore Offshore Operating, LLC since December 2022, Brian previously worked at Murphy Oil Corporation as Sr JIB Accountant from November 2019 to December 2022. Prior to that, Brian held various positions at Noble Energy from September 2007 to June 2019, including International Accounting Team Lead and Joint Venture Accounting Team Lead, where responsibilities encompassed supervising teams, managing joint venture transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Brian began their career in accounting roles that involved journal entries, financial data reconciliation, and audit coordination. Brian earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University between 2002 and 2008.
