Melissa Raveed, M.Ed.

Melissa Raveed, M.Ed. has extensive work experience in the field of instructional design and program development. Their most recent role is as Senior Manager Instructional and Event Design at Common App where they are responsible for designing and implementing engaging programming, events, and content. Prior to that, they worked for GP Strategies Corporation as an Instructional System Designer. Melissa also has experience providing private language tutoring and was a Language Training Coordinator at LTC Language Solutions. Melissa has worked in the education sector, managing the budget and staff for the Art Program at the Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired as well as serving as a Dean of Students at North Central High School. Melissa was also actively involved in program development for Girl Scouts and was an Exploring Executive for the Boy Scouts of America.

Melissa Raveed, M.Ed. received their Bachelor's degree in Spanish and Linguistics from Miami University in 2002. In 2014, they pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Instructional Design from Western Governors University, which they completed in 2017. Melissa also attained additional certifications in the Foundations of Learning Management Systems (LMS) from LinkedIn in April 2023 and in CoL's 2021 Elite Teams Program from GP Strategies Corporation in June 2021.
