Steve Baierlein

Steve is a Senior Manager with Deloitte and a leader in the Banking Capital Markets industry. He specializes in investment banks and broker-dealers and serves a number of Deloitte’s largest clients, both public and private, including global investment banks, institutional securities firms, retail brokerage companies, commercial banks, and boutique advisory firms. Steve has spent his career working in the largest international financial centers, having spent two years in London to drive cross-continental collaboration for global banking clients and to drive partnerships throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Steve is a certified public accountant licensed in New York.

Steve has been a featured speaker at many statewide conferences covering a range of topics related to the brokerage industry. He previously served on the NYSSCPA’s Board of Directors and as a member of the Nominating Committee for the Board of Directors.

Steve has a passion for helping middle school students reach their fullest potential. He will serve on the Governance Committee of Common Denominator and help build the board talent pool. Steve will work towards building a diverse talent pool of individuals that have a passion for community service, youth education, mentorship, and math and want to give back.
